Emundoo joined the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) P2P Project Group in May 2009. We presented our software in Geneva and will be an active member of P2P research especially in distributing videocontent for broadcasters by using PeertoPeer technology. Since we startet our closed alpha in may we learned a lot about the system and its behaviour in a closed group. We are currently speaking to several (exciting) companies for public test-cases - and we are confident to run the first ondemand public test in september, and the first livestreaming test in october - this is really exciting, and we’ll announce the names of the companies as soon as the contracts are done.

Live Streaming

August 25th, 2008

We are currently extending the services of emundoo with a live streaming module. This has some fundamental changes in the design of the sytem as consequence, but we are confident, to run the first live streaming test-case in october 2008.
